A force for good in the world, the purpose of the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence is to defend the United Kingdom and its interests, and to strengthen international peace and stability.
The Defence Attaché represents the British Chief of Defence Staff in Romania.
The core function of the Defence Section is to promote the UK's defence and foreign policy by:
- Acting as a link to develop the relationship between British and Romanian Armed Forces
- Providing advice to the Ambassador on the British and Romanian Armed Forces
- Assisting British defence companies - through the UK Trade and Investment Sector, wishing to establish business links in Romania.
