Application process

The British Embassy Bucharest is an equal opportunities employer. Our policy on local staff recruitment is to select the best candidate for the job through a fair, open and valid selection process.

Our vacancies are advertised on the Embassy website and also in the local media.

To be considered for a current vacancy candidates must:

  • apply within the specified job announcement timeframe, and
  • meet the requirements specified for the job advertised.

The selection process will usually include the following steps:

  • Application
  • First interview and job-related tests
  • Final interview (if necessary)
  • Appointment.

The entire selection process will take a period of several weeks.
