How to legalise a document

The British Embassy can perform a variety of notarial services, including:
 
 
Certifying photocopies of documents in English

Taking oaths or affirmations,  Affidavits

Witnessing a signature

                                               RON180
 
 
An appointment is not required.

THE HAGUE CONVENTION: APOSTILLE
 
Public documents issued in the UK which need to be legalised for use in Romania are covered by the 1961 Hague Convention which abolished the requirement for legalisation of public documents.
